Cycle path. Constraints: There is no cycle path between Fornham St Martin and services in Bury St Edmunds. The footpath is narrow and the road is derestricted with traffic travelling at 60mph. There is regular flooding at the bottom of Barton Hill

As stated in 5.5.1 the area of land WS570 forms a natural break between Fornham St Martin and Bury St Edmunds and this should remain so.

Against village reclassification. Fornham st Martin is a small village with no facilities apart from a pub , the developments proposed are out of proportion to the size of the village and there is a real risk of the village being swallowed up by Bury St Edmunds and losing its identity.

I believe the coalescence of the village into Bury St Edmunds would be detrimental to the village status of Fornham St Martin.

This section should say that Fornham Park is designated as a Special Landscape Area
