West Suffolk Five-Year Housing Land Supply Report (5YHLS) 2022

Assessment of a five-year supply of housing land taking a baseline date of 31 March 2022

The five years covered in this assessment are 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2027

The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and Planning Practice Guidance (PPG) requires the council to update their five-year housing land supply (5YHLS) based on up-to-date robust evidence.

As part of this process, we have contacted landowners, developers or representatives to confirm what progress has been made in delivery of their site. This information has been used to inform the draft 5YHLS.

This consultation welcomes comments from everyone. However, we are particularly interested to hear from those closely involved in the housing building industry.

In your response you may wish to comment on the following:

  • The methodology and assumptions used in the draft 5YHLS report.
  • Provide additional information on specific identified sites.

The consultation will run from Monday 21 November 2022 (9am) to Monday 16 January 2023 (5pm)
